Emile Gilioli, son of an Italian immigrant, is an important figure in post-war abstract sculpture. Present at the Salon des Réalities Nouvelles, he will also be represented by the Louis Carré, Denise René and Dina Vierny galleries.
He was one of the founding members of the Salon de la Jeune Sculpture, alongside André Bloc, Fernand Leger and Le Corbusier.
