Jacqueline Lerat settled in La Borne, where she found the ideal environment for her art to flourish. She discovered folk art and later Romanesque art. Working alongside her husband, the sculptor Jean Lerat, she began exploring a path in the 1960s that opened ceramic art to a modernity she followed with interest across other artistic disciplines.
